There needs to be more Iconic Crossovers

From ‘Freddy Vs Jason’ to the first ‘Alien Vs Preadator’ and even the ‘Expedables’ in its own way. Freddy Vs Jason giving the film veiws two of the biggest Western Horror icons having a fight, its what is on the tin, these too doing what they do best Killing teen agers and then fighting each other at the end, which is what people wanted when Freddy Vs Jason comes to mind. Freddy being quick on his feet and dropping elbows where as Jason being slow, matodical and effecticly unstopable. It’s was not masterpeices of horror or even a perfect film, but its a slasher horror with two of the greatest horror icons on all time slicing and punching at each other and every other teen around.

Now ‘Alien Vs Preadator’ is a different story and..has less good things to agure back about. with too many human characters and time spent on them is not what people came here to see. People expected that film to be about the preadators hunting the aliens, i know it was done before in the games and done fairly well give or take, but film is  alot different and so is the target audiance for the most. people didn’t want to see some slightly creepy sort of love being built between the preadator and the human female…no one wanted that. I know what i wanted form the film, Preadators fighting Aliens and not Two preadtor Red Shirts and then one badass Preadator who dosen’t get some from the human. The fights when they happen are great and a joy to see, these two can be agured to be Sci-Fi icons but the point still stands, a crossover between icons and they trying to kill each other…it needs to happen more, and Alien Vs Preadator Reqiuem’ should be burried in the same ditch all the E.T. games are in.

The Expendables is also one of these, but they don’t use former film characters, they just use the actors and say ‘look, 80’s action heros! come see them blow shit up!’ and it works, its a pretty good film who’s sqeal i have yet to see, its stupid and loud but people going into this film really shouldn’t expect any different, but as cool as it is i would like a cross over between there characters more then just the actors playing characters. Guy from Die Hard working with Jason Stalems Transporter guy, John Kimbell getting drug dealers with Rocky. Why? coz it sounds like an awesome idea, a very stupid idea yeah but some of the best ideas start out like that and then they are fixed by screen wrtiers and people with better ideas.

I’m just saying is all, i mean Japan has GodZilla with all the monsters either working togethor or kicking the shit out of each other and that is an amazing idea, why can’t the west have it with our Movie Icons. I still want another and better Alien Vs Preadator 2, Freddy Vs Jason has an amazing comic book sqeaul called ‘Freddy Vs Jason Vs Ash’ with Ash Williams from Evil Dead, its an amazing comic and i want it to be a movie…RIGHT NOW DANG IT!

Could even go in with the classic horrors and have ‘Dracula Vs The Mummy’ with todays budget this types of films could go amazingly well if advisted and made right, even ‘Frankenstin Vs Wolfman’ sound like it would be not only fun to watch, but fun to make as well.

But in the end, of it all i don’t think it will happen but i am just saying that it should. Horror crossovers are great ideas. Ghostface (guy from scream) Vs Halloween (Mike Myrys) think of how cool that would be to see on screen. Throw Leather face in there…..Just make a film where every killer from horror is thrown into a cross between a Galdator Area and Saw traps…DO IT NOW DANG IT!

DANG IT HOLLYWOOD!
