MC Opening Ceremony review

For this opening ceremony I was made the head chair of the group, and therefore it was my job to make sure that people where sorted into their groups and was doing work. The method of me becoming Head chair person was a strange but effective one, I had the first idea and I was voted to be the leader as it was my idea to have ‘party poppers as fire works’ (an idea I started to look back on as a bad idea when I had to clean it up).

Along with this I always also made the sub-groups by using the idea’s that the group gave me, I made the sub groups: Props/music Team, Interview Team, Promotion team, Timeline Team and Research Team. Each team having its own job’s to be done and each adding to the end result, the prop/music team making flags, sighs and getting the music of course, the interview team organized the interview that I badly edited (very badly) and got an interview with an older student, the promotion team making leaflet’s, posters and the logo themselves and I think it came out really well, the time line and research team’s both worked by themselves and together, as the research was for both the timeline and the course its self, It was my job to make sure all of these people where working and listening to their leaders and doing some kind of work.

In the end I really think that it all really came together very well in the end, even If I was missing ten people at the start, I see it as everyone coming together in the end and making a ceremony that I felt did a lot better than I was thinking it would with me behind it.
