Final letter to self.
Ello Younger Charlie, reading over your letter It made me start to wonder more then normal, how on earth did I pass English? Aside from the self-depreciation (the grammar or spelling won’t have improved by now) , I would like to say that through this year I have at least crossed one or two things on the list of things you wished to happen to me.
One, I have made a lot of things I can now look back on and go ‘i had fun making it, and I love It’ from music videos, to dramatic readings and my baby project of a comic book dub having come forward to the world of the internet, making people laugh or even smirk is a great feeling, faked, either laughing with me or at me it doesn’t matter, if I can make at least one person smile it has now made my day, through the adventure of university I have learned this because nearly all of the things I have made, have been made to make someone smile at least once, and as of so far I have been 100% proud of everything I have made.
All though I still have very little idea what I wish to do with the skills I have gained through the year, from audio and videoing editing, to simply getting better at managing people so they are set to do group work with you, believe me past Charlie your people organization has shot through the roof since the simple time when it was a little stress to sort out twenty five people with it now seeming like a fairly easy task, as the people who want to help out will turn up or at least have a reason for not turning up, and the other people who don’t? SCREW THEM!! So yeah, lesson learned people who turn up or have a reason for not turning up are the better people.
The learning to play bass guitar is so far on the back of the list, but you have finished a project you have been wanting to do for a good few years, not only doing your first bit of voice acting but also brining one of your all time best comics to life, you also knew what people in your university are up for doing voice acting, as you don’t want this to be the last comic you bring to life with editing, sound and voice.
I’m sorry about the time machine thing, I got half way and brought a bunch of clocks, because if your going to have a time machine you need to put a lot of time into it, but the world didn’t end at all, so woo.
Anyway, a good luck to you past Charlie, and on to your future adventurquest of a life!
