Now, this review should have been much earlier done, but..i wanted to wait for all the DLC character’s to be out to get a real scope of the game…yep, that’s my reason and i’m sticking with it.
Now DC’s 2nd jump into fighting games comes in the form that nearly matches their original, Mortal Kombat vs DC, made by the same company, NetherRealm Studios, formally known has midway. Now a fighting game that has both a strong control scheme and an amazing story, the thing you don’t often hear when you talk about fighting games.
With a collection of characters being voiced by their old cartoon counterparts, mostly, and are all pretty well voice acted but sadly the story seemed to concentrate on the game boxed, during the main games story line you do get their spot in the lime light but some others don’t and really don’t make alot of an impact on the story other then to just be punching bag’s for you when you play through the story.
Now i know their are somthing close to 300 star labs missions that i have not touched at all, over the simple reason that the Mortal Kombat (2o11) game prize for finishing the tower was a rather lame costume for Mileena that showed more skin then needed.
Now their isn’t much to say about the game its self, NetherRelam have making fight games down to an art, as much as you can with fighting games, with a good arcade story and not just a time at the end, lots of different choices for costumes (for most characters).
It’s a pretty good game over all, and now the game of the year edition is out, i would say you can get that if you want some more character’s
