Now before i start this review properly, i’m just going to fan boy unashamedly and loudly below.
OMG THIS MOVIE WAS SO GOOD, I JUST LOVED IT, AMERICA DID IT! THEY MADE A GOOD (LIKE GOOD GOOD) GODZILLA MOVIE!, ITS JUST THERE’S SO MANY MOMENTS THAT JUST MADE ME SQUEAL WITH HOW AWESOME HOW EVERYTHING IS JUST HHHHHHHHH YEAH!
….yep….i enjoyed this movie that much. but it had some issues that i am willing to admit too seeing. The human characters, while Bryan Cranston was enjoy able and pretty much the best human character in the movie next to his wife (who’s name of the life of me i can’t remember so if i need to talk about her properly gonna call her Jane) As she has a horrible tragic death that sets of the events of the film in a nicely dramatic and monster movie style with a nuclear disaster in Japan (When doesn’t it?) with Bryan Cranston’s wife, Jane, having to be locked in with a mass amount of radiation as her husband watches.
Sadly we then switch to Bryan Cranstons son, Every first person shooter character ever (I again forgot this characters name, so i am gonna call me Kick-Ass). Kick-ass in this movie is a boring white guy who gets over shadowed by his dad (who dies far to quickly to be in so much promotional stuff (i don’t care if breaking bad is good…its not right)) as well as being over shadowed by the much better Dr.Monster (the awesome Japanese guy who knows shit about Godzilla, i am bad with names sorry, and can for some reason has some kind of Godzilla sense (no its not explained)
While the movie does have issues, such as allot of build up is good there…is a bit too much build up with very little interesting things happening during this build up so that is the main glaring issue there. but when it does get to the amazingly awesome monster fight it really is all worth while to see Godzilla and the two other monsters brawl it out in such an epic way.
