Birmingham German Market Review

The Birmingham German market, like most German markets in England, happen around the Christmas time and is a mix of expensive food, bright lights, beer and German culture that comes with all 3 of those things, with the stands stretching all around the Birmingham high street, the busyness of the town center is tripled for this event with people rushing around Christmas shopping they are also going around the German market to take pictures, spend money and just have a look at the displays around the city.

As most city’s have these each year its not different that Birmingham, the second largest city in England, would more then likely have a pretty big German market so there is a lot to see and as it lasts for nearly 2 mouths I think that is enough time for anyone to see everything that this market has to offer sot he time it is on so really useful to anyone who wishes to see the whole thing if you go early and spend all day there, or you can just go a few times before it leaves which would be the best thing to do.

The Food in the market ranged from confectionary, sausage and burgers, crapes. All as over priced as you will think they would be ay anything like this, but strangest all of them really could say are worth the price, being off amazing quality and if you are willing to put out the money for it then some could say its worth the price…I think its too much but anything over a one pound so it all really depends on your definition of what is ‘to expensive’.

Even with the large crowds and properly more then a few drunk on the German beer they where selling there, the staff working at the staff working at the event couldn’t of been nicer when I did buy things and wasn’t just bedazzled by the lovely displays they all had, that added up with the lovely survive lead to an all ready great experience through out the day.

Everything there was amazingly put together, I have no idea how long they have been doing this for, but it really shows that they have had a lot of practice setting this whole thing up and making it all amazing and pretty really helps to have the whole Christmassy whiter feel, even with out the snow.
