  1. The class, gender, nationality of involved parties.

  2. The (perceived) public reaction to the news story.

  3. The response of political parties (Labour, Conservative, Lib Dem, Green Party).

  4. The discourse used by different media outlets to report the news story.  Compare, for example, the different way in which The Daily Mail and The Guardian report on the same story.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/search Very little positive articles on gay marriage, all of them seem to show news opposing it and not showing any of the upsides of same sex marriages

Over all the aricles seem a lot more not angry then the daily mail.

The same as the daily mail really

Most of the public reaction is that people are either not that bothered by it, don’t really want it as it could ‘ruin marriage’ or Gay people don’t want it as they are fine with civil partnerships,  and on the other side gay people do want the same right’s, or people do want it.

Labour seem to be supporting it as Ed Millerand, Conservative’s are broken up about it as David Cameron supports it but many parts of the conservative party support it with comments on aritles like ‘if gay marriage mean’s being conservative I don’t want to be one’, the lib dem’s support it with Nick Clegg calling anti same sex marriage people ‘bigots’.

The green party surrports gay marriage, as one of there A Brighton councillor has been expelled from the Green Party for her opposition of same-sex marriage, based on her Christian convictions.
