Techland and Deep Silver you cannot get away with these kind of stupidly press hogging, media whoring. I understand that company’s will do to get notice with stunts like this, but they can get notice in better and more creative ways, Just watching the original slow motion sad trailer for the first dead island game makes me want to get a game that I brought and sold with in the same week again, That is the way video game company’s should be trying to get notice, with heart breaking, sad and artist trailers, Not with pre order bonuses that are cheap and low blow to what ever fans this game has, Why would anyone want this pre order bonus, what would they even do with a lady zombie torso, nothing I would like to think about that is for sure, and even people who wouldn’t its not like any sane person would just have it laying around the house to let every one see ‘oh look what I got coz I love this game so much, a pair of bloody tits’, no they wouldn’t as they are trying to be normal.

I understand collectables, the whole thing isn’t what I’m into but everyone has their thing, but even then, I don’t really think anyone would really want that…at all. It boggles my mind anyone who would proudly just display this anywhere, and that is ignoring the objectiveness and the fact it’s just a woman’s torso.

So after getting all my anger out in those two paragraphs, and I am well a where they did another slow motion sad trailer, but it didn’t have the same impact. As it got a lot less shocking, the original opening the first thing you see is a dead child…that is shocking and will get your game attention, I also think it’s the first zombie child in a modern game, The trailer for ‘Rip tide’ was going for the same sort of thing, it dose build a sense of hopelessness that the same trailer builds, but you don’t really get the whole sense of scale that the first trailer gave you. In the back ground you can see all sorts of little things going on as well as this family’s own little personal story, in the newest trailer you just sort of get this couple on a boat story. And even then the original trailer and the first game can be compared to making a heart felt sad and depressing horror film trailer , and then the film is really just another action horror film.

To end all I have to say is, what the hell Deep Sliver…You could have done more with this game series as a whole so much more, and now your just making it worse and worse. With the original trailer could be used as defend game trailers its self as art, this is just something people can shove in the face of gamers everywhere and say ‘Look your perverts’, I’m also pretty sure that people who didn’t want this game before hand, like me, won’t run to preorder the game because of it.
