It’s Christmas tomorrow. Huzzah! So I am gonna do some research the strange stat of the strange existence of Santa Claus in the comic book universes.
St.Nick has nearly always had a presence in the pop culture. Film, video games and Cartoons have Santa stuff sprayed all over them this time of year. But looking at how the jolly red man is treated in comics I feel could be a bit of fun for the time of year. Ok that’s Marvel Universes alone it has Santa being kidnapped by Hitler and being saved by Nick Fury, Captain America and Bucky during WW2
Along with that, there are the possibly that Marvels Santa is in fact based on Odin, Norse all father after he left presents for sailors declaring “A good Midwinter to all! And to all a good life!”
The next major event for the great Claus would be an X-Man based adventure where it was found that he could be “The world’s most powerful mutant”.
Other strange Christmas adventures that happened in the Marvel universe include; Santa using his naughty list to become a detective and teaming with She-Hulk
, being injured flying over Latvera and Dr.Doom took up the role of Santa for a time.

There also the time Loki wished to steal his power in the Avengers Cartoon show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYTwIrEbwic&t=83s
The only other bigish story was when Santa sold his business to the forces of HYDRA, using the factory to produce evil! So Howard the Duck, dressed as Santa along with other mall Santas teamed together to take Santa’s factory back from the forces of HYDRA
While DC have had a surprisingly less usage of Saint Nick. Though the two stories that do really stick out in these universes.
With there being Lobo: Paramilitary Christmas Special, where the alien bounty hunter has come to fight a slave driving dictator of a Santa.
And by far the best story to come out of their Christmas styled stories, shows Santa personally visits apokolips every year to give Darkseid, evil destructive world destroying space tyrant a lump of coal every year.
