The archive of a matchstick – material culture

The object i am using is my tattoo. i have chosen this object for several reasons and below are a collection of related images.

This archive belonged to my dad, it is still in the same shopping back it has been stored in for years. There are just pages of art work in old pages and old books. The 1st picture on my shoulder is the tattoo i got is a physical archive that i more then likely will not lose any time soon.

I know very little about what inspired these drawings and can only really assume, but there is a lot of Gallic design  as well as some cartoon influences, as well as what is present in here is some drawings i did my self in my child hood. I do personal wish to upload and store all of these images online as not to loose them as they are the only memory of my dad.
