I am constantly holding my image as its a tattoo and my skin is holding it forever (Or until i get it lazered off (i have no intention too)) My object is forever part of myself after i got this as a gift.
This image is a symbol of my own materiality, as i have ‘edited’ my body with this tattoo. As i was not born with this object, its an addition i made later in life, a present from my mother who herself has a number of tattoos. It is a foreign body that was made part of my body through the use of ink and blood. (As the feet and hands of the tattoo lost color almost instantly, through bleeding and the color white not showing up well on my own whiteness.
