Iron Man: Rise of Technovore is marvels 5th jump into the anime world and its first full length anime movie, with its close release to Iron man 3 its clear that this was on purpose to help Marvel’s Phase 2 movie Iron Man 3.
The animation of this anime was really good, from the action scenes to the reactions for the characters between each other, faces, fighting its all very smooth and looks great to see Iron Man and War Machine all anime awesome style.
The voice acting for nearly every character is really top notch, i watched the english dub because thats how i watch anime , the only really bad bit of voice acting was from who ever was voicing the punisher…he just sounded so bored of everything around him. ‘oh hey its iron man…how dull’ or ‘hey its shield are after me…meh’ and it really just my main problem with that part of the film as a whole, where as the punisher cameo dose make sense and doesn’t feel as forced as i guessed it would be it is ruined by the horrible voice actor, no punisher in live action or other cartoons ever sounded bored by what they where doing.
The music is great, suiting each scene well and helping giving the amazing looking action an extra push to be even more exciting.
This gives me hope that Marvel will at least try to keep up with DC’s amazingly done animated universe, not much hope but its there.
