First letter to my self in a year’s time.

Hello, Me, I hope nothing has happened that would have derailed you from university or the whole media thing, also hope you are doing well being 19 now and all. And I hope this letter finds you well over all. Right then me, there is one really important thing at the start which relates to your whole creative side and the thing I really hope is that you can make something, anything really , that you don’t look back and go ‘that is stupid’ and I hope you have at least made one thing you can look at after its finished and say ‘that’s pretty good’ and it to be something that you are honesty proud to say you have made and not something you just want to ignore. Next is that I want you to have even just the base idea for what you really want to do in the future so you can say more than just ‘something media based’ with the experience of your first year of university I hope that you have finally made some kind of choice and that they helped guide you towards the choice of more of the future that can happen, my hope is that those two things have not been too hard for you to do and haven’t taken you all year to do and I am sure it won’t take you the full year to work everything out for the future. But a need to move on to the more important matter, the world hasn’t ended right?….i mean the Mayan’s weren’t right and the world is all right, well all right for not being destroyed, not that I believe any of the doomsday things will happen I just feel that it would be best to check and make sure, just give me some sort of sigh somehow that the world hasn’t ended , that would mean making time travel in a year but I’ll leave it to you future Charlie.

And with all this, I want one thing…just one thing to come from you in this year, to fully learn to play the bass guitar, you have had that for a year and you really do just need to sit down and really get to learn it, after all you have the amp and the guitar you just need practice and you can do it. And with all these things happening I want them to be done so you can say ‘look have I have done and can do’ not for other people but for yourself, even with all of these things I wish I will do within the year there is still a very important thing I want to do have fun and to expand your creativity into everything you can do, if you’re not having that then you have lost something good sir so make sure of that and good bye future me.
