Batman: Arkham Origins first screen shots

The prequel to ‘Arkham city’ and ‘Arkham Asylum.’ the first screen shots and plot have started to ergmer to the internet thanks to game informer.

“Eight of the best assassins in the world have come to Gotham City for one night, Christmas Eve of all nights, to kill the Bat.” We now know that these eight assassins are lured to Gotham by the villain Black Mask, who is offering a substantial reward for Batman’s head. The assassins will also be joined by crooked cops in the GCPD looking to cash in on the reward.

With the look that Black Mask will play a much bigger role than just a DLC bad guy like he did in ‘Arkham city’ and one of DC’s top assassins Deathstroke looking to play a big role. This is looking to be an exciting prequel of a game. All though it is now being made by a new developer,with Rocksteady backing out as they didn’t want to make a prequel, I think they know what they have to live up to and it’s just a case of seeing if they are up for it.

The game now takes place in an open world Gotham City, the map being said to be twice the size of Arkham city its self. With both a ‘New Gotham’ and ‘Old Gotham’ (The future Arkham city). There will also be ‘Crimes in progress’ as you glide around the city, this has been seen in nearly every single free roam super hero game and ‘Most Wanted’ side missions where you can track down and fight villains who are not that important to the main story.

Batman: Arkham Origins will be available for the Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360. Will launch on October 25, 2013.
