A year in review – 2015 Masters, jobs and Amsterdam
Well, as I should have been doing this all year I feel like one big long post would hopeful make up for a lack of content in one big post.
Things of the year
Graduation
A lovely experience and a great reason to see allot of my friends again and to feel like the real sign of my moving onwards to even higher education. Having one of the most important papers of my education in my hands also felt good.
It felt like all the work I had put it got me somewhere and for now that somewhere was my Masters education.
Masters
Following the successful (yay) graduation and passing of all my things at university. I was able to get my masters paid for by Coventry University and being able to start carrying on my Media education.
This allowed me to learn so much more, meet some cool new people and go to Amsterdam. Which are all awesome things. With the pictures I took below.
These pictures where for an art exhibit in the glass box next to Drapers. http://charliesmithmcmahon.imgur.com/
While I took a lot of pictures the ones we used where the panoramas to show off these big open spaces.
I have learned allot, while allot of it us building on what I have learned from my previous years it has really expand my knowledge. With my favourite parts of the course being my Film and Visual culture with really changed my view of films as a whole and let me see one of my favourite things, Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy, in a whole new educational light.
Of course sadly with the attacks on Paris happened, a horrible tragedy, the danger I the area made us change plans last minute to instead visit Amsterdam. As shown above in the picture this didn’t stop any work happening or anything we have learn was instead put onto a different city it still worked.
Along with this everything else I have been doing is researching, concentrating on comic book based research with all of the essays.
Jobs
Being forced into the adult life of working (that sounds wrong) I achieved the success of getting a job! (Well two jobs) Being a coffee maker for a place that sounds like SlarTucks and being a till monkey for WHSiths (That sounds so much cooler then the real name)
These places have taught me some pretty good lessons as my first jobs and it’s nice to get some real world experience and make some money from it.
also lead to this awesome picture being drawn

Along with all the real jobs I am hoping to throw myself head first into the world of voice acting and voice over work 😀 Which I would hopeful be able to do a whole lot better if I am able to get the funding to improve my own little home studio.
Future
I’m a bit too lazy as it goes to really be too bothered by the ideas of New Year’s resolution and that malarkey as I would hope that I have just been improved myself throughout the year instead of just making some kind of promise I would properly just forget about/be too lazy to do.
But I would hope I could post a whole lot more on here as well as get some more creative things out of my work.
Well, thanks to anyone who read all the way through this. (Go get yourself a cookie (one of the nice ones))
