An odd little day it was, In this market waiting for the right cart to hit the right man or woman…when this strange little man started yelling and screaming, spiriting away from him.
‘hmm…I wasn’t meant to see you yet at all’ I said a little under my breath as the mortal runs off, shrugging I go back to waiting for the right place and the right time, checking over the list one last time
‘Yes that’s right…Samaria’
Still later another mortal starts to talk to me
‘What do you think you are doing frighten my servant’?
he asked having the front to poke him in the chest, I look down and shrug lazily at him
‘I didn’t mean to at all…I was just surprised at the fact I got to see him early, In fact I wasn’t meant to see him till Samaria, and after he has gone’
as I point my finger at the man behind a stall, making sure to take a small step to the right and at the moment a run away cart flys past me and the servant owner, smashes into the stall owner.
As I walk forward to harvest the now crushed stall owner.
‘I’ll be seeing you soon. A small tip , do stay away from the grapes’
Waving at the Servant’s owner and vanishing.
In Samira I waited around a corner, the downside of knowing when everyone else is going to die is the fact you never get any surprise’s in this job, sticking my cane out the servant trips over and falls with a thud
‘Running really won’t do you any good at all…so I would just stand still, it would make it a whole lot easier for everyone involved’
The man slowly turns over with the scared and frighten look on his face, and then precedes to kick me between the legs, I fall to my knee’s groaning in pain and I see the man running off, for him to then get hit in the head with a flower pot and fall over, dead.
‘You know…the after life can be pleasant’
I say as I walk towards his body, as menacingly as a skelington in cloak holding a scythe can, doing my best not to limp.
‘I will now make sure. Yours isn’t’’
—————–
‘Servant I demand some…food!’
I had said barely 10 minutes ago and all ready my servant was ranting and raving back here about how Death was coming for him and that he must run to Samaria, I hand the man my best horse.
‘After you have relaxed you best come back here…I have things that you should be doing’
As I watch him ride off into the distant, sighing I head off to the market my self like a commoner.
Seeing Death as odd I will admit, but I won’t be scared off like my Servant was.
‘What do you think you are doing frighten my servant’?
Poking the cloaked figure in the chest and doing my best to stand up to him, what I got back was pleasantly polite.
‘I didn’t mean to at all…I was just surprised at the fact I got to see him early, In fact I wasn’t meant to see him till Samaria, and after he has gone’
As he points at a healthy looking stall owner, he couldn’t possibly just die like that, then I get the feeling of a whooshing sound as a cart speeds past both of us and smashes into the man, struck by shock at what I just saw Death walked over and said to me
‘I’ll be seeing you soon. A small tip, do stay away from the grapes’
and with a wave he vanished.
As I got back to my home, goods in my hands I look down at the collecting of fruit
‘one grape couldn’t hurt…they are my favorite’ i say out loud throwing one in the air and it lands in my ear, making me stumble back I trip and fall, a loud snap and I see the flash of a black cloak and a scythe before I leave
‘I did warn you’

I was barely gone for 10 minutes before I got the strangest feeling behind my back, as I stood at the market stall I turned and gasp started shirking and running for my life, Death was there staring at me and I was far to smart to just sit around and wait for him to get me I needed to run away as fast as I can, I heard him mumble something but I didn’t have time to listen just to run.
Getting back to my masters house I quickly run to the man and drop to my knee’s ‘’PLEASE MASTER I have to run to Samaria to escape death, he won’t get me there’’
Being the kind if odd man that he was he gave him his fastest horse and sent me on my way, smiling like I never had before as I escaped death.
Happily arriving in Samaria I couldn’t be happier, I felt like a free man…like a man that had just escaped death. Basically skipping down the street’s but then something caught my foot and I feel on to the floor.
‘Running really won’t do you any good at all…so I would just stand still, it would make it a whole lot easier for everyone involved’
I turn over and have to hold in my scream, it was death…he had found me, I needed to escape so I do the only thing I can think of, and my foot goes flying between his legs, I quickly scramble to my feet and run away as fast as I can, then I hear a whoshing sound and a smashing at the back of my skull.
I drop to the ground again harder this time and head first..pretty sure I’m dead.
‘You know…the after life can be pleasant’
I glup..somehow, watching Death come closer to collect me and I really really wishing I hadn’t kicked him now
‘’I’ll now make sure yours isn’t’’
is the last thing I hear.
